Solar Engineer – San Pedro de Alcántara (Marbella)

Since our launch in 2019 in San Pedro we have grown rapidly, establishing ourselves as the market leader in the supply and installation of domestic solar PV solutions and expanding our team substantially to cater for the high demand we are experiencing for solar panel installations. In addition to our busy San Pedro office, where this role is based, we also have offices and a depot in Alicante.

About the role

We’re looking for a solar engineer to create the installation designs for our clients as well as to conduct the legalisation of the installation and issue the Electrical Installation Certificate (CIE). Main duties will include:

· Producing sales proposals, from design to cost
· Completing all the registration paperwork and technical projects
· Liaising with clients to resolve technical issues
· Visiting new perspective client sites where technical expertise is required
· Liaising with suppliers and other third parties

The ideal candidate will also be able to produce design plans for the additional ad hoc construction work we perform for clients, such as the creation of pergolas.

Skills and experience

We’re looking for candidates with a knowledge of:

· Working with low voltage systems
· Solar installation design
· Autocad
· PV Sol and PV Syst
· BIM (3D modelling)
· Microsoft Office

Candidates MUST also be bi-lingual in English and Spanish with at least a level B2 in their second language.

This role will be based in our offices in San Pedro de Alcántara, Mondays to Fridays, 8.30am to 4.30pm
